Had a couple of sessions since last update. The most significant events which are: Finally completing a 6b+ lead up the main wall at the Foundry. Since I got my new shoes, I’ve noticed the joint on my right toe getting quite sore. So, for the last week and a bit I decided to have a bit of a break from climbing to see if it calmed down a bit. It’s been about a year since I last went running, and something came over me last night to start it up again. So, I grabbed a running partner from work and went for it. My handy Garmin 205 captured the following: My running route Not so bad for the first run in about a year. I’m viewing this as a way to build up my stamina a bit. This Sunday… i was sooooo close at leading that 7a. I managed it with one fall and one rope rest. Tomorrow… it’s mine!
