Good News / Bad News

Went to the Doctors this morning to check out this pesky shoulder of mine.

Bad News:
He reckons I've got a Labral Tear; a tear in the little cup of cartilage that surrounds your shoulder joint. I've probably done it by falling on my arm at some point while bouldering, rather than as a direct result of climbing. He's referring me to a 'shoulder Dr' to have a look at it. I might need an ultrasound or MRI scan to confirm it. I'm not convinced there is much they can do to help it by reading around, but at least I know what it is!

Good News:
He's told me to keep climbing. Based on the fact that I've probably not done it in normal climbing and that climbing isn't aggravating it, he's told me to keep at it. Fairy nuff!

I'll just keep away from the Climbing Works and bouldering for a bit to avoid falling on it again!
